The wilds of Kingston
May. 24th, 2009 02:46 amI saw a raccoon for the very first time ever a couple days ago! He was so cute and fat, I have no idea how he got up that tree so fast. I kinda spooked him up it, but then he sat on a branch and stared at me. Too cute! And apparently a menace; a neighbour said the little bugger likes to use his kids sandbox as it's own personal litter box. :P Still, it's a cute menace!
Then a pretty bluejay swooped past my head and landed on a nearby branch, and let me get pretty close to it. I've always loved bluejays (I blame it on my childhood obsession with the Toronto Blue Jays! :D
All in all, a pretty neat day. :)
Even if I managed to lock myself out of my apartment about a half hour later. Again. With my spare keys inside. Again. *rolls eys at self*
