bare_bearI have hit the job hunting doldrums. No response to anything I've sent out. No desire to send out more (doesn't seem much point, no one is interested). Not doing a heck of a lot otherwise.
Well, except for knitting. I've been doing a lot of that.
I have been helping D get his basement suite ready for new tenants. He offered to pay me to do a move-out clean; I don't think he realized what that would entail when asking a person with many many years of cleaning experience. I may be a slacker when cleaning my own place, but I'm anal retentive when it comes to cleaning others. Still, I think I'll probably not accept the money (if he'll accept that - he can be stubborn). He's treated me to so many things this summer, this is sort of a nice way to repay some of that. I doubt he'll accept that though.
Anyways, I did manage to wash up my bedding today. I've been putting it off all week, partially because of laziness, but mostly because I've been waiting for a sunny day to put the sheets out on the line. There aren't going to be many more days when I can without fear of the sheets freezing, so I need to get on it as much as possible. I also took my pillows outside for some fresh air (which I then forgot about until about 5 minutes ago - I'm so lucky it hasn't rained or dewed at all).
I'm sure you all appreciated hearing about my laundry. My life has been a little dull lately.
Well, that's not really true, I just haven't had the energy to blog about it. I do still have some interesting coloured bruises from a mountain biking adventure last weekend. :D
