Coffee shop ramblings

bare_bearCurrently at my fav coffee shop, theoretically doing research and semi-random writing (\o/). In reality, I'm mostly people watching. There's three older men having a meeting of sorts with a laptop open in front of them. They look relaxed and busier than I am. There's two very old women having tea and scones, curly white hair, glasses, delicate (slightly spotted) and transparent skin, and sassy comments included. At least two sets of students working on projects. And an older couple who look like they're having a good conversation and enjoying each others company.
Oh, and there's Rob, the manager. BRB, he's coming over to chat.
I'm back! Nice guy. He's laughing at me, as usual, the twerp. Seriously, though, I love this place. It's noisy enough that you can't identify the music or conversations, but not too noisy to be distracting. The atmosphere is chilled out and the people interesting.
And there's awesome coffee. Although I'm learning that's definitely not the most important thing. :)
Alright, enough dicking around. Back to work.
