(no subject)

My best friend has been in Winnipeg for her sister's wedding, and I've been thoroughly enjoying spending time with her.  Of course, she's been super busy visiting family and such, especially since there were so much of them down for the wedding as well.  Despite this, we managed to spend all day Wednesday together, with her and her hubby coming over for a truly epic game of Monopoly (the bank ran out of money!), sushi for dinner (just the two of us), then cheesecake at the best dessert place in town with the ladies!  It was a great day.

I was supposed to go to the beach with her and her family today, but I have a lingering cough, and it's been taking all my energy with it.  Sadly, I wasn't up to going to the beach today, and I didn't want to drag everyone else down with my misery. 

I'm kind like that.

For tonight, I'm going to watch an old season of Project Runway and sew.  :)
