bare_bear | Bad timing, Heather-Health (Reply)

A few days ago, I posted about waking up with a swollen lip. I thought I'd maybe bitten it (or got into a really violent dream) or something. But each morning since, I've woken up with the same swollen lip, and swelling elsewhere on my face. And it's slowly moving upwards. This morning my eyes are badly swollen, as is my nose, lip, and my cheeks beside my nose and lips.

I figure it's time to go see the doctor. My usual method of ignoring-the-problem-until-it-goes-away or self-medicating aren't working. The kicker is? I've lost my health card.

Now, this probably wouldn't be a problem, except that 1) I forgot to register with Manitoba Health that I was coming here for school, and 2) am moving out of my apartment in a week.

*le sigh*

I called them though, and after getting chewed out for a bit about not contacting them after moving again, they gave me my health card numbers. I need to send them a bunch of forms and crap in the next few days (yay more stuff to do!), but at least I can go.

Now I just need to figure out where to go, since I've never gone to a doctor here in Kingston.

Face? Why couldn't you wait until after I got back to MB to do this swelling act?
