After nearly 7 hours of sitting in the coffee shop chugging caffeine and fighting the pull of the FB Blackhole of Procrastination, I've got about half of my water data described and then summarized onto cue cards. Nothing officially typed up yet, but that'll get done all at once when I have all the data summarized. It's really not that hard, just incredibly dull and boring. I don't want to know how many times I checked my emails/facebook/flist. I'm just glad it's a slow day on all those fronts. (Are people ignoring me? Thank you if you are!)
Since my Precious Coffee shop is closing right away, I'm going to go home, cook myself a nice dinner, and air out my brain watching While You Were Sleeping. \o/
Thus concludes my exciting day in the life of an exciting grad student in the joyful thrall of thesis writing. Hullo? Is anyone still awake? Did I lose you at the mention of water data?
(By the way, I just googled the spelling of "thrall" to check the spelling, and this definition came up: One who is intellectually or morally enslaved. Sounds about right to me. :D)
