The King of Towns
Well, here I am in Kingston, and despite being away for 5 months, it feels like I never left. Still, I love this town, and it totally lifted my heart to be here again. :)
I had a meeting with the super Super, and she's proven her superiority again by being super super. I don't know how she does it, but she makes even the largest mountain of problems seem like an anthill. I've got two micro-deadlines for the coming week, and I'm more motivated to work on my thesis than ever.
I think it's due to the fact that she absolutely loves research, and gets excited about any development. It's refreshing and somehow manages to get you excited about tables of Excel spreadsheets that you've been staring at for months at a time.
Anywho, I ought to get going and stop dicking around on LJ and blogspot. I've got a bunny to corral before I finish getting ready to head out to a friends defense party at the Grad Club. Not sticking around too long tonight, only for maybe 1-2 beers. I'm actually excited to get back to thesising, and want to get to sleep at a decent hour tonight.
