End of day (beginning of day?) writing update
Alright, it's 6 am and I'm to bed. Not quite on nocturnal mode yet, but getting there. I only really burned out about a half hour ago, and managed to push through and get my research objectives roughly written out. I swear, Chapter 1 will never end. I'd be finish the 1st rough draft if I hadn't added another section about 15 minutes ago, but my brain has turned off, so I'll deal with it tomorrow (today?).
Despite working on this for the last 5 or 6 hours, I only got just shy of 600 words written. So glad I didn't aim for the full nano goal, but honestly, even 600 words a day was too much. Still, I'm really only using NaNo as a guide and way to push myself, so I'm not disheartened at all. Look at this! I've nearly got a chapter written, which I'm not sure I could've done so quickly if I wasn't pushing myself so hard! :D
Anywho, since this chapter is due in on Wednesday (Super didn't say when on Wednesday...), tomorrow (or today? No, it's still the 15th until I sleep) I need to go through and re-write entire swaths of chapter 1. Luckily, I've already done that for part of it. Bloody long jerky geology section. *fistshake* I will FIX U! I uh...should also work out at least an idea of what my figures will be, and make a table for mineral paragenesis. Eep, lots to do!
