Do-dads

You know, I always see people who make posts on silly, interesting, newsworthy, or upsetting things they've found online. I rarely do that, and when I do, it rarely works out well. Mostly because I try very hard to limit my "wandering around" time online, since Hullo thesis!

But today I came across the funniest link, and if nothing else but prosperity, I needed to post about it. Apparently, some credit cards come complete with concierge services, and this guy decided to test out their limits. He called them up and made all sorts of requests, including sending him to space, and they actually came through with all of them!

ETA: I should probably clarify that they do all the research for your request and get the information to you. They don't actually send you to space. :D

I wonder if my credit card comes with concierge services?

And never has this icon applied more than now.

Busy Heather is busy

Goals for tonight:

• cook dinner (roasted potatoes and peppercorn steak!)  mmm!
• bake coffee cake to use up crumble stuff  MMM!
• do ALL dishes (including cooking dishes)
• tidy up living room
• finish sewing grey cardigan-like shirt  well, I hemmed the bottom.  Still have to do the edging around the arms
• fix funky top (neckline and take in side seams)

A little ambitious maybe, but doable, I think.  I might have to do the last one tomorrow.
